Corston Couture bridal gowns are individually designed and exclusively hand-crafted in store, in Australia, supervised by the couture designer who consults with you and does all your fittings. 

Coral Johnston, founder and manager of CORSTON COUTURE, says:

“In business it has always been our aim to find the very best people to do the work, use the best fabrics and laces we can source, and make the experience for the bride-to-be as wonderful as possible.

Not everyone has the perfect figure, and not every style of gown flatters all body shapes (there are dress shapes that even Elle McPherson should avoid wearing). So we have spent the last 19 years perfecting the art of matching stunning designs with body shapes (for more information on Body Shapes, please Click Here).

This is also why we do not do 'off-the-rack' bridal. Even styles that are on our racks are 'tweaked' during production to absolutely perfectly fit and flatter the bride-to-be who is purchasing the gown. To achieve this we do not employ sales people—we pay quite a lot more in wages to have highly trained bridal dressmakers, consult with our clients. The technical and aesthetic advice they give the bride-to-be is invaluable. The fact that this consultant then oversees the entire construction of the gown and does all the fittings makes the whole experience for the bride-to-be much less stressful and allows us excellent quality control over the gown at every stage.
